MBA Program Details

Wharton’s MBA program emphasizes an intensive, flexible core in general business education, plus the depth of 19 majors and breadth of nearly 200 electives. You will select a pathway through content areas based on your education, career experience, and goals. You customize your learning not just through selection of your electives and majors, but through choices in the core.

How It Works

Wharton’s faculty members create a living network of ideas — one that challenges you to lead with strategic and measurable thinking. Wharton professors are leaders in their fields–half of them have active consulting practices with businesses, not-for-profits, and governments around the world. Their broad expertise creates a range and depth of courses unavailable at any other business school.

Your learning teams and cohorts provide catalysts for new insights, collaboration, and the start of a lifelong network. Your fellow students are a comprehensive support system to help you make the most of your MBA experience. Each student brings expertise to the group, helping those with different experiences and business backgrounds learn from each other.

To assist you with navigating this robust program is a team of professional advisors that offer guidance in the areas of academics, student life engagement, and career management. This team of advisors is available to engage with students and help them meet their goals throughout their MBA career— from matriculation all the way to graduation.
