Application Assistance

We want you to succeed, so we’ve created an in-depth guide covering every phase of the application process:
What You Need to Apply. For any questions not covered in our guide, one of our Admissions Advisors will be happy to help you.

Application Requirements

To be considered for a round, you must submit a completed application by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on the day of the deadline.

If you submit your application after the deadline for Round 1 or 2, it will be rolled into the next round. If you submit your application after the deadline for Round 3, it will not be accepted.

If you submit an application earlier in a round, you can confirm receipt via the online application system  and will have more time to schedule an interview. We recommend submitting your application as early as possible, and some programs require you to apply during Round 1 or 2.

Interviews are by invitation only. We will contact you to arrange an interview during the application process.

At any point, you can use the online application system to check the status of your application or return here for an update on where we are in the process.

When to Apply

First-time Applicants We encourage you to apply in Round 1 or 2 as the majority of the class is selected during these Rounds.
Submatriculation applicants You should apply in Round 3 so that a more complete academic record is available.
Reapplicants We strongly encourage you to apply during Round 1 or 2. For advice and guidelines around reapplication, see the Reapplication section in What You Need to Apply.
International Student If you need to apply for a student visa to study in the United States, we recommend that you apply in Round 1 or 2. For advice and guidelines, see the International Students section in What You Need to Apply.
MBA/MA-Lauder Program We only accept applications in Rounds 1 and 2 to meet the program start date. If you are an international Lauder applicant and need to obtain a visa, we strongly encourage you to apply in Round 1. For more information, visit the Lauder Program.
MBA/JD Program We accept applications in Rounds 1 and 2 only. Students admitted to this program must apply prior to matriculation in either school and must attend the three-year program if admitted by both schools.
Dual-Degree We accept applications in all Rounds. Unless otherwise indicated, you may apply to both programs simultaneously.
